Seems like the longer I am on Twitter the more local or regional people I find twitting…when I first started I couldn’t seem to find many here in Southwest Virginia…but now the mighty power of the tweet is catching up with us. I spend a few minutes a few times a week finding all sort of southwest Virginia businesses and tourism groups to follow! And just yesterday when the world shook for what seemed like a minute, I went straight to twitter and started discussing the earthquake. Even the Roanoke Times retweeted my post. How cool is that?? So–if you haven’t started a twitter account yet, do go and do so. You can always hook your twitter to your facebook so when you make a post at FB, it will automatically post to twitter as well. It’s a great thing!
