New Tutorial Video: How to Make a Blog Post

Well I am excited today! I have had so many customers who have requested I make a video about using their WordPress websites. Today I found an awesome software program called Jing. It makes a video of my screen and captures my voice so that I can make tutorial videos! Wow….the end results are so awesome and the program was so very affordable–only $15 for the year! So I made my first video and I think it turned out pretty well. After creating the video, I can automatically upload to my YouTube account, so here is the first tutorial, embedded here for your viewing knowledge. If you have questions, email me and let me know. Maybe I can revise based on stuff you didn’t get. And if you just want to brag on me, lol, well please let me know or make some comments at Facebook!

Seems like the longer I am on Twitter the more local or regional people I find twitting…when I first started I couldn’t seem to find many here in Southwest Virginia…but now the mighty power of the tweet is catching up with us. I spend a few minutes a few times a week finding all sort of southwest Virginia businesses and tourism groups to follow! And just yesterday when the world shook for what seemed like a minute, I went straight to twitter and started discussing the earthquake. Even the Roanoke Times retweeted my post. How cool is that?? So–if you haven’t started a twitter account yet, do go and do so. You can always hook your twitter to your facebook so when you make a post at FB, it will automatically post to twitter as well. It’s a great thing!
