confession from the booth seats
Yes, I admit it, I love a good Big Mac. I have tried so many times to be vegetarian. And I really can go months and months without a steak or a hamburger. But here lately, I have so much work to do, McDonalds seems to beckon to me with answers….what are these mystic answers….quick supper (no time spent chopping, cooking, washing) a babysitter (in the guise of a big playground with other screaming four year olds) and free wifi. OMG–I can get a solid two hours of work in while Lacy runs her butt off tuckering herself out and I don’t have to spend time cooking and cleaning. Does this make me a bad mom or a good business owner?? I finally had to kick my own hind end about the Big Macs tho. I have been here several times now and actually have NOT ordered a Big Mac. I’ll either do the salad, or if I have had a good day calorically speaking, I will splurge on the Southern Chicken sandwich (aka deep fried!! heck yeah!). But today I added leaf lettuce, tomato and red onion to it just so I could get in a little bit of extra veggies and fresh taste. So proud of myself. Not a bad splurge for only 450 calories! Okay my other weakness are McDs French Fries. I suppose if I had to request a last meal, a fresh hot serving of them would be part of the menu. Yes, I love them that much! So, yes, I splurged on them tonight. I’m a bad puddy tat. Normally I just get a small, which only has 250 calories. That seems quite reasonable for such fat.
