Design Agreement

These terms are effective for all design work created on a for hire or volunteer basis by Mitone Cooke Griffith for clients.

1. Unless written agreement is given or prior arrangements made, all design products of a print design project for hire (business card, rack card, brochure, and any other printed material) is copyrighted and owned by Mitone Cooke and may not be reproduced or printed in any way by another print company or design company or rearranged or reprinted in client’s office.

2. Client may purchase copyrighted print projects designed by Mitone Cooke Griffith to print elsewhere for a flat fee of $300 or, after the printed product has been printed through Mitone a minimum of three times. Upon receipt of this payment for the art, and upon request, copies of the digital art will be given to client who may take high resolution artwork and print anywhere else she or he chooses.

3, Regarding website design artwork, it is agreed that art produced by Mitone Cooke Griffith for clients does belong to client upon completion of payment terms. If no payments are made to Mitone Cooke Griffith and art is created as part of a free design project, artwork remains copyrighted and owned by Mitone Cooke Griffith and client may not take the art files to be hosted or rearranged elsewhere. Volunteer website design projects may be purchased for a minimum of $300 and include logos, website graphics and WordPress templates.
